Klüh opens Cantinetta on the EUREF Campus in Düsseldorf

The Düsseldorf-based family business Klüh is expanding its catering services at the EUREF Campus Düsseldorf, a leading location for companies, start-ups and research institutions in the fields of energy, mobility and sustainability. With around 290 seats indoors and a terrace overlooking the Lichtenbroich excavated lake with a further 230 seats, the new Cantinetta offers employees and visitors an inviting meeting place for delightful breaks and culinary experiences.

Guests can look forward to a varied menu: homemade Italian classics such as pasta al bronzo, pinse with a 72-hour proving time, BBQ dishes and an open kitchen where guests can watch their food being prepared live. The range is complemented by handmade snacks, a selection of sustainable drinks and coffee specialities from traditional manual lever espresso machines.

The Cantinetta is the first catering facility operated by Klüh at the EUREF Campus Düsseldorf and marks the launch of a comprehensive culinary concept. Another bistro with around 100 seats is scheduled to open in mid-2026, adding international specialities such as pho, bowls, sushi and freshly prepared snacks to the menu – complete with a barista bar for coffee and snacks. 

The Klüh Catering app gives the diners on campus access to information such as nutritional and sustainability data, information on allergens and additives, special offers, culinary promotions and featured dishes. In addition, Klüh displays the sustainability rating of each menu item both on site and in the Klüh Catering app to give diners an idea of the environmental footprint of the meals on offer. Here, not only the standard CO₂ value is determined, but in future also factors such as water consumption and animal welfare will be included.

Partner for sustainable building management

In addition to catering, Klüh is also a reliable partner for security and cleaning services at the EUREF Campus. In this way, the company contributes to smooth operations, well-being and the implementation of innovative event formats – always subject to the highest quality and safety standards. 

Klüh also has its own offices at the site, where interdisciplinary teams develop innovative concepts for catering, facility management and digital services. These are presented to interested members of the public in the company’s own showroom, offering visitors an insight into the company’s innovative spirit and forward-looking concepts.
