Systematically verified quality in all divisions

Quality at Klüh is based on clearly defined processes, established standards and regular internal and external audits.

Certification ensures that this quality is quantifiable and transparent. It also serves as evidence that Klüh not only complies with but also consciously exceeds statutory requirements.

For our clients, this ensures verifiable quality, reliable processes and a partner which takes its responsibility seriously – both now and in the future.

Our divisions have been certified in accordance with many national and international standards that demonstrate the effectiveness of our quality management and provide a maximum level of transparency for our clients and partners.

Our management systems at a glance

All of the company’s relevant divisions apply recognised management systems that support continuous improvement, safety and sustainable conduct. These include:

DIN EN ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems. It ensures that processes are clearly defined, continuously improved and consistently aligned with the needs of clients and other stakeholders.

DIN EN ISO 14001 defines the requirements for an effective environmental management system. The goal is to reduce environmental pollution systematically, use resources efficiently and make environmental matters a permanent aspect of operational decision-making.

DIN EN ISO 50001 describes a structured energy management system aimed at continuously improving energy-related performance. The standard helps companies to record their energy consumption transparently, identify energy-saving potential and reduce emissions sustainably.

DIN EN ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It helps to mitigate occupational risks, establish safer working conditions and protect employees’ health in the long term.

DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001:2022 defines the requirements for systematic information security management. The goal is to protect sensitive information, ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability and strengthen digital resilience.

The Safety Certificate for Contractors regulation defines requirements for occupational health and safety and environmental protection for companies that deliver services in security-critical areas. It is aimed at systematically preventing accidents at work and providing qualifications for employees and managers.

Industry-specific standards

Some of our divisions have obtained additional certification underscoring their specific expertise:

DIN 77200-1:2017 is an industry-specific quality standard for private security services. It defines requirements for organisation, human resources, processes and service delivery and establishes transparency and comparability in the security market. Klüh Security is one of the first companies in the industry to obtain certification in accordance with Part 1 of this standard. The division also operates an intervention unit recognised by VdS, Germany’s prestigious security institution, as complying with special requirements for alarm monitoring, intervention and operational coordination.

DIN EN ISO 13549 describes the requirements for quality management systems specifically for the providers of cleaning services. It ensures that the delivery of cleaning services is plannable, transparent and of assured quality and fosters the continuous improvement of services. Our innovative DigiClean® quality management tool has been certified to this standard and enables the objective assessment of cleaning quality.

Our BIO certificate confirms that Klüh Catering GmbH has been audited in accordance with Germany’s Organic Out-of-Home Catering Ordinance (Bio-AHVV). It verifies that we comply with stringent requirements relating to the use and processing of certified organic products in our mass catering operations. Further information and the certificate itself can be found under Catering – Sustainable Development.

AZAV governs the licensing of employment promotion providers and activities. As a licensed provider, Klüh’s Rheinische Akademie für Sicherheit und Wirtschaft GmbH (RASW) is entitled to provide training and qualification measures and targeted further development programmes for employees.
