Klüh Security has received the prestigious Comenius EduMedia Award from the Gesellschaft für Pädagogik, Information und Medien e. V. (Society for Education, Information and Media - GPI) for the tenth time in a row. The award was presented for the digital learning programme “Cyber Security Awareness”, which raises staff awareness of the risks involved when handling digital information and equips them to act responsibly in both their professional and private lives.
This e-learning module provides practical knowledge on current cyber threats and demonstrates how businesses, customers and employees can effectively protect themselves against digital attacks. Topics such as phishing, password security, social engineering and the secure handling of sensitive data are clearly presented with a focus on practical application. The aim is to raise awareness of security in the long term and reduce risks resulting from human error.
“Winning this award for the tenth year running is a special recognition of our ongoing work in the area of digital training and development”, says Sven Horstmann, Managing Director at Klüh Security. “Particularly in the field of cyber security, knowledge is an essential safeguard. Which makes it all the more important to convey learning content in a way that is easily understood, practical and has a lasting impact.”
Klüh Security provides training for its staff at its own security college and at the Rheinische Akademie für Sicherheit und Wirtschaft (Rhenish Academy for Security and Business - RASW). The programme is complemented by the digital learning management system “DigiLearn”, which makes it possible to learn anytime and anywhere, and effectively supplements traditional training formats. The training programmes are continuously updated and adapted to meet the latest requirements of the security industry.
The Comenius-EduMedia Award is presented annually by an international panel of experts from the GPI. It recognises digital educational media that demonstrate exceptional pedagogical, didactic, creative and technical quality. The award is considered one of the most significant European quality seals for digital educational content.
The award is named after the educator Johann Amos Comenius (1592–1670), who is regarded as a pioneer of modern education. His vision of clear, practical knowledge transfer continues to shape numerous educational concepts to this day.
