Once again, Klüh Catering is the contract caterer with the highest turnover in the clinics and hospitals sector this year. This is according to the latest market analysis by the trade magazine gvpraxis, which assesses the sector each year in its renowned ranking. With a turnover of EUR 152 million and growth of 4 percent compared to the previous year, Klüh has maintained its leading position in the care segment for the twelfth time in a row.
“Securing first place once again is welcome confirmation of our ongoing work in the healthcare sector – and at the same time a clear sign of the trust our clients place in us. Our many years of experience, combined with innovation, sustainability and quality, make us a reliable partner in care catering,” says Thorsten Greth, Managing Director at Klüh Catering.
With its tailor-made catering concepts for hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and retirement homes, Klüh has been one of the key players in communal catering for many years. Here, the company increasingly relies on digital solutions, resource-saving processes and a varied, balanced range of meals tailored to the specific needs of the care guests.
Also in a broader market comparison, Klüh has once again held its ground among the leading providers and continues to rank fourth on the overall catering market.
New impetus for the sector: Thorsten Greth joins the ICA Advisory Board
Another sign of Klüh’s strong position in the care segment is the appointment of Klüh Catering’s Managing Director Thorsten Greth to the Advisory Board of the Institute of Culinary Art (ICA) for the expert committee on care catering. The ICA is an independent platform that facilitates knowledge transfer, networking and personal development, and aims to inspire people to pursue careers in catering and make the sector fit for the future. With over 30 years of experience in the sector, Greth stands for innovative strength, strategic foresight and sound practical knowledge. He has headed Klüh Catering since 2016 and has developed the company into one of the leading providers of care catering in Germany. By joining the ICA Advisory Board, he will provide impetus for process optimisation, digitalisation and forward-looking concepts in communal catering in the future.
