Klüh continues sustainable development on the basis of digital expertise

The Klüh Group continued growing in the 2025 financial year with turnover of 1.108 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%. This result reflects the stable performance of the company’s divisions at home and abroad in a challenging market environment.

Once again, the main contributions to turnover came from the Cleaning (35.0%), Security (21.3%), Catering (18.0%) and Clinic Service (16.3%) divisions, followed by Personnel Service (6.1%) and Integrated Services (3.3%). The international business contributed a stable share of 340.7 million euros, or 30.7%, to total turnover.

Frank Theobald, CEO of the Klüh Group: “Our ambition is to systematically optimise services by combining digitalisation, sustainability and service quality. In this way, we create solutions that make economic sense for our clients while simultaneously preserving resources.” In line with this guiding principle, Klüh continued to expand its digital and sustainable services in the past financial year.

Networked technologies as levers for efficiency and sustainability

One milestone in the 2025 financial year was the commissioning of the company’s own alarm receiving and emergency service centre that has already enabled Klüh Security to attract new partners and clients. The smart control centre forms the basis for a networked digital security and service model that combines qualified staff, smart technologies and certified processes to ensure structured and efficient alarm processing and rapid reaction times, thereby setting new standards for the delivery of conventional security services.

The Cleaning division used the optimised Klüh Eco System for Smart Services to grow the provision of customised solutions for clients, even those with very specific and challenging requirements. The system serves as the central service and communication platform for 360-degree facility management. Employees receive all their current tasks via a digital ticket sent in real time to their tablet computer; dashboards deliver rapid analyses for individual on-demand services; and cleaning operations can be tailored specifically to the actual utilisation of a building’s rooms and other areas. A new application in the care sector demonstrates the extent of this development. In the context of Legionella prevention activities, digital processes are used to ensure the seamless documentation of statutory flushing regimes, efficiently combining hygiene, health and sustainability.

The Catering division is also continuing to press ahead with its digital transformation. Substantial optimisations were made to the existing AI waste management tool that analyses when and why food is disposed of. For the first time, any food that is returned can be scanned and weighed on a moving conveyor belt so that future portion sizes can be adjusted more exactly to actual needs.

Klüh demonstrates the implementation of these and other best practice solutions for building-related services in its showroom at the EUREF-Campus in Düsseldorf, a new location for companies, start-ups and research organisations in the areas of energy, sustainability and mobility. Here, Klüh showcases its full portfolio of innovative service solutions for modern and sustainable facility management in a changing working world to a broad audience.

A supportive working environment

In 2025, Klüh systematically continued its employer branding campaign with the motto of “I won’t work for everyone”. Under the hashtag of #confidence, the campaign highlights the valuable work of the company’s employees, coupled with the ambition of providing support and making performance visible. Klüh received the German Brand Award 2025 for this successful campaign.

An integral part of the campaign in 2025 reporting year was the “Kitchen heroes” initiative. In collaboration with the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Klüh established a development programme for employees over the age of 25 who have no formal qualifications or have previously only had on-the-job training, enabling them to progress step by step towards a recognised vocational qualification. For this approach, the programme received the PEPP! Marketing.Award in 2025.

The company’s candidate management system received a further award in 2025. For the fifth time in succession, Klüh won the BEST RECRUITERS label for its exemplary application processes, confirmation of the high standard of the company’s personnel recruitment and support activities. Building on this strong commitment, Klüh’s job portal was recently expanded to include a new feature – Your route to work – which maps a candidate’s personalised route to their potential workplace directly from the job advertisement.

The consistent focus on employees and candidates is also reflected in external rankings. For the fifth time in succession, Klüh was recognised as a “Top Company” by kununu (total score of 4.4 out of 5 and a referral rate of 84%). It was again rated by the F.A.Z.-Institut as an industry leader in facility management.

“Our employees are at the heart of our success. We ensure an environment that rewards commitment, fosters development and uses modern and transparent processes, thereby creating a workplace where performance is visible and each employee can feel at ease in the long term,” explains Christian Frank, CFO of the Klüh Group.
