Klüh Catering named market leader in care catering for the thirteenth year running

Klüh Catering remains Germany’s leading contract caterer in the clinics and hospitals sector. This is the result of the latest market analysis by the trade journal gvpraxis, which assesses the sector each year in its renowned ranking. This marks the thirteenth consecutive year that the catering division of the multi-service provider has maintained its number-one ranking in the care sector.

This latest accolade underscores Klüh Catering’s strong market position in the healthcare sector and also confirms the company’s ongoing development in a challenging market environment. With bespoke catering concepts for hospitals, rehabilitation centres and senior care homes, Klüh has been a leading player in the German contract catering sector for many years. Here, the company is increasingly focusing on digital solutions, resource-efficient processes and a varied and balanced menu tailored to the specific needs of its care home residents.

“Retaining our top position in the care sector is a special endorsement of our ongoing efforts and our high standards of quality – and, even after thirteen consecutive years, it is anything but a foregone conclusion for us,” says Thorsten Greth, Managing Director at Klüh Catering. “In the healthcare sector in particular, it is essential to consistently combine reliability, quality, sustainability and innovative concepts. We are proud to have successfully defended our number one position for the thirteenth time.”

Klüh Catering also continues to be one of the leading providers in the overall market, taking fourth place once again. The company has also provided new momentum, among other things, with the opening of the Cantinetta on the EUREF Campus Düsseldorf, where a modern catering concept for business and campus catering has been implemented. In addition, the company was awarded the PEPP Marketing Award 2025 for its “Küchenheld” training programme. This enables employees aged 25 and over who, for example, have no formal qualifications or have previously only had on-the-job training, to progress step by step towards a recognised vocational qualification.
