Klüh Catering, a subsidiary of the Klüh Group, is one of the winners of this year’s GREEN MONARCH Award. The award ceremony took place as part of the GreenSign Future Lab 2025, where representatives from the hospitality industry discussed sustainable innovations, digitalisation and future-oriented concepts.
The prestigious award from the GreenSign Institute is presented to companies in the hospitality industry that are setting new standards with innovative and effective sustainability concepts. The institute is one of the leading organisations for sustainability certification and supports hotels, catering businesses and tourism companies on their path to greater environmental and social responsibility. The GREEN MONARCH Award recognises particularly successful concepts that generate demonstrable environmental benefits and set standards in the market. The award is presented in the categories Hotel, Restaurant, Product and Personality.
In the category “Restaurant / Gastronomy”, Klüh Catering impressed with its comprehensive, measurable sustainability strategy. Particular emphasis was placed on the plant-based product line WE LOVE GREEN: since the beginning of 2025, all company restaurants have regularly been offering three vegetarian or vegan, CO₂-low dishes per week, thus significantly reducing their CO₂-footprint. In addition, Klüh prioritises regional and seasonal ingredients, certified organic products, resource-saving processes and an AI-supported waste management system that sustainably reduces food waste.

Winning the GREEN MONARCH Award is one of many successes this year. In 2025, Klüh Catering was voted the leading contract caterer for the twelfth time in a row and also received the PEPP Marketing Award 2025. The awards underscore Klüh Catering’s pioneering role in responsible, future-oriented catering and demonstrate that the company is systematically and continuously developing its sustainability and quality standards.
